The 2019 KIA Sportage is a five-passenger solid crossover SUV, having plenty of features for the money. We can give it high marks for its comfortable ride quality, spacious interior, quiet cabin while on the road and the fact that it offers an optional engine upgrade, making it a winner. The 2019 KIA Sportage comes in three models i.e. LX, EX and SX Turbo. Some of the significant features of Kia Sportage 2019 are:

·        Interior:
The SUV’s well-resourced interior is above average in terms of standard. The front cabin features a sporty dashboard with in-built controls, and the rear has an unpredicted abundance of legroom for a small crossover. The cargo capacity is the only compromise in terms of its interior. It is roomy enough, but other changes are limited. The quality of materials has improved in the latest Sportage. Also, the touchscreens feature sharp graphics and quick responses.

·        Exterior:
It stands out for its swoopy but submissive look. It is bold and not overly detailed. It has Steel spare wheels of 19" alloy. Clear coat painted. The SUV also features Express open/close sliding and tilting glass 1st and 2nd row sunroof. It also includes front fog lamps and LED Brakelights. The doors are spacious.

·        Technology:
Kia's touchscreen controls are interestingly easy to use, with the larger two featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. All trim levels can be equipped with accident avoidance tech.

·        Driving/engine:
The base 2.4-liter engine produces satisfactory but unremarkable acceleration. The usual 0 to 60 mph takes 8.8 seconds, which is average for the class. The sportage comes with optional turbo power, which we mentioned earlier as well. The 181-hp SUV seems as an ordinary, if not inspiring, performer. The fact that it has a lousy fuel economy makes it even more average.

·        Price:
The 2019 Kia Spotage Basic LX costs $23,750; 2019 Kia Sportage EX costs $28,100 and 2019 Kia Sportage SX costs $34,600.

·        Overall rating:
There's a lot to like about the 2019 Kia Sportage. First and foremost, it's a strong price proposition. It comes with numerous features for the money, and its warranty coverage is among the longest you'll find. It pretty much does everything well, but unfortunately gas mileage isn’t one of them. It’s distinguishing style, great handling, optional turbo power and outstanding infotainment makes it a winner but simultaneously it has worthless fuel economy as well as limited configurability. So, it can be rated 7/10.
